Zalianamis Lithuania

We are a youth organization funded by the government as an open youth center whose mission is to provide a safe space for young people from ages 14-29, where they can spend their time in a meaningful way, develop social skills and grow as individuals. The center provides an environment where youths can be supported and empowered to create their dream life with the assistance of our youth workers, within the framework of non-formal education and its principles of open youth work. Vilnius Antakalnis open youth center was founded in the year 2012 as the first open youth center in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, paving the way for others to follow. It was built upon the foundation of “Atgaja”, a creative childrens and youth summer camp that has flourished over the last 30 years, whose mission is to preserve the cultural heritage of Lithuania.
